Interview with Aida Hoxha – Co-founder of LE SISS MILANO

1. Let’s start from the beginning — how did the idea for Le Siss come about? What inspired you to create your own skincare brand?

The inspiration behind LE SISS came from a deeply personal journey. It was born from a profound need — the challenge of healing skin inflammation and restoring healthy cell turnover after years of intensive medical treatments. The goal was clear: to bring back the skin’s natural glow, firmness, and vitality — in one word, health.

Caviar extract is used in high concentrations and sourced from premium, sustainable origins. Combined with other powerful natural actives, it became the cornerstone of our formulas.

2. Who are the co-founders of Le Siss, and what are your individual backgrounds? Can you share a bit about your personal journey and what led you to the world of skincare?

LE SISS was co-founded by three sisters — Rovena, Bruna, and myself. My sister Rovena, the scientific formulator of LE SISS, is a pharmacist with a deep understanding of skincare ingredients and their pharmacodynamics. She has always been passionate about finding real solutions for sensitive, inflamed, or prematurely aged skin.

I come from a dual background in clinical medical aesthetics and scientific research on collagen and skin aging, including work with advanced imaging and testing techniques like AFM and FTIR. Bruna, with her experience in luxury fashion and international PR, brings a powerful voice to the brand’s identity and global presence.

3. What did you discover during the development process that shaped the brand? Were there any surprising insights about ingredients, skin science, or the beauty industry?

One of the most eye-opening discoveries was how many so-called luxury creams are diluted or contain only minimal concentrations of their star ingredients. That didn’t sit well with us. During our formulation process, we also explored how glycation — a silent yet powerful skin-aging mechanism — affects collagen integrity. This is something rarely addressed in mainstream skincare.

Our scientific exploration drove us to design formulas that not only nourish but also protect and regenerate, targeting the deeper causes of skin deterioration — not just surface symptoms.

4. What makes Le Siss products different from other creams or skincare lines on the market? What’s the unique edge or philosophy behind the brand?

We stand for high-performance skincare that respects the skin. Our products are up to 97–98% natural in origin, yet they perform like clinical-grade treatments. Each formula contains elevated concentrations of active ingredients — for example, our Caviar Suprême cream includes up to 20% more caviar extract than some of the top luxury brands. We don’t dilute our formulas for mass production. What you get is potent, stable, and designed for real results.

5. Caviar is a signature ingredient in Le Siss — can you tell us more about that? What are the benefits of caviar for the skin, and why did you choose it?

Caviar is a powerhouse ingredient. Rich in amino acids, essential fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals, it closely mimics the skin’s natural composition and delivers deep nourishment. It supports collagen synthesis, improves elasticity, enhances microcirculation, and helps reduce inflammation — all while promoting a luminous, even complexion.

We source our caviar extract from premium, sustainable origins using a cold maceration method to preserve its full potency. The skin doesn’t just glow — it becomes more resilient.

6. Have you conducted any clinical tests or customer trials to support the effectiveness of your products? What results or feedback have stood out the most so far?

Yes, all our products are clinically tested. A common theme in the feedback is that our products deliver visible results quickly — especially in terms of hydration, glow, and firmness. TV presenters have used our products before long filming days and appreciated how well their makeup stayed in place. Brides have told us they felt confident and radiant on their special day, with naturally lifted, nourished skin.

7. What are customers saying? Can you share some testimonials or reactions from people who use Le Siss regularly?

One of our clients said,

We’re expanding into new territories across Europe and aiming for selective placement in luxury retailers. We’re also developing professional-use formulas for clinics and spas, as well as targeted skincare for the eye area and post-treatment recovery. No matter how we grow, our philosophy remains the same: no compromises — just results.
